VISION PI Associate Professor Christian Danvad Damsgaard has been awarded PhD supervisor of the year at DTU, 2024.
Such a well-deserved recognition. Christian indeed makes every student at VISION excel above expectations. We are proud to have him onboard the VISION endeavor.
PhD supervisor of the year award
PhD graduates can nominate their supervisor for PhD supervisor of the year each year. The price comes with an amount of DKK 25,000. This year, it was awarded to Christian Danvad Damsgaard from DTU Physics and DTU Nanolab. He was recognized for his great influence as a tutor that extended beyond his own group. Christian Danvad Damsgaard is described as a supervisor who finds joy in helping others succeed and has saved many research projects of the PhD's who have nominated him for the award.
